Although Pereira is a small city this has high levels of contamination, the narrow ways create the perfect place for contamination, also the rivers and forest are strong affect for human contamination. One cause may be the higest levels of poverty, lack of education and recycling political. But the problem don´t stop here, to lack of environmental political, there is that add the global warming that are striking more and more countries, so the earth has been hotter.

The Pereira weather has been changing as fast as other cities, the weather in Pereira 40 years ago was 1 o 2 degree C under that now, the measuring has showing this. So is time that everyone gather efforts but help to our city and to our world. Stack thing, garbage buy and buy more and more is one the big problems, one thing more common in our consumerist culture.

Therefore the problem is in our life, in our community and we can´t walk with eyes binding before this problem and the solution rely on of the actions that we take now and that will lead us to the exact point of solution and now only the good aim.

I´m feeling down this days no about my life, but about my city, Pereira is that city that I learned to view how a promise of develop and wealth, now it don´t has same dynamics of old times, the measurement of planning is going in decrease, everyday more people suffer by lacks of source employ, growth of city is stopped, while the poverty growth so fast nonetheless the big markets follow growth to move little convince store, remains the possibility that more people can gain some money with them little stores. The truth a lot of people unknown and believe that this is develop when the truth is that this is capitalism aberrant but our city and our people. Nonetheless we are here fondness this beautiful land.

This week was open new Carrefour in the city, many people is happy for this, as if this hypermarket spread their wealthy among them or as if the prices and products had special price but not ,this hypermarket on Avenue 30 de Agosto in Pereira has destroyed natural zone, also now the avenue 30 de Agosto is too narrow become in chaos, doing very difficult the traffic over this way, but many people will say that this Carrefour is an opportunity for employed, perhaps, but what kind job is this? with a minimum salary? with hour and hour to work without economy bonus? When this huge company get millions of dollars each year and their employers scanty can eat a little food every day.

Nevertheless when open a hypermarket like this a lot of people arrived to see what is new, how if this one was thematic park. When don’t have other option for leisure time the people is happy seeing what they can’t buy. This is world undeveloped where the society to see at an hypermarket an diversion park.
